Meetings and Events

The Museum’s concert hall (or the whole museum) is often hired for corporate and community meetings, concerts, TV filming and special events.

The hall has a portable PA and wall-mounted 85" TV display, or hire our house PA system, stage and cinema screen. Our flexible seating can accommodate groups of all sizes up to 240 people theatre-style, or 110 seated at tables.

We are equipped with professional lighting, sound and live streaming / recording capabilities with multiple HD cameras to capture your event in the safest possible way and bring it to your audience - wherever they are.

Concerts, Receptions and Parties

The museum makes a unique and fun venue for a party. Put guests in the mood with instrument demonstrations in the galleries and, if desired, we can arrange for an organist to play the Mighty Wurlitzer which rises up from beneath the stage in the concert hall.

The hall has a sprung dance floor, and is equipped with state-of- the-art lighting and sound systems available for hire, plus a range of other equipment packages to suit any budget if required.


There are a range of options for in-house or external caterers, depending on individual requirements and the scale of the event. The Museum is fully licensed, with a cafe/bar adjacent to the hall.
