Hupfeld made a series of automatic player pianos which ranged from a basic piano through to complex models which combine a variety of other instruments. This one has the facility to have a ‘band box’ attached to it producing the sound of a small jazz band. It is also capable of being operated from a coin box making very suitable for a café or bar.
