This is a coin-in-the-slot clockwork barrel piano. There are 10 tunes on the barrel, which plays the tune twice for each coin. There is a small handle on the side which when turned will move the barrel 2-3mm so a different set of pins are brought into play. It is typical of the large numbers of similar instruments made from 1890’s to 1914.
